EMW Paves the Way for the Future
EMW filtertechnik GmbH of Diez / Germany will now operate under dual leadership, having named Mr. Kevin Drache as a further managing director.
Mrs. Gerlinde Weyl-Drache, representing the second generation of the proprietor family, has been a managing director of this owner-managed company since 1989. This company specialising in technologies for air and (waste)water filtration has achieved ongoing positive development over the last several decades. Continuation of this successful course will be a prime goal of Mr. Kevin Drache, a third-generation family member who was recently appointed a co-managing director. “The intent of this appointment is to pave the way for constant and sustainable corporate growth,” as stated by Ms. Weyl-Drache. “In addition, by integrating the next generation in company management, we hope for new ideas which will ensure our continued market success.”
Kevin Drache, born in Diez in 1975, passed his school-leaving examination and began to study law at Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn. While working as an intern lawyer for the Palatinate Higher Regional Court at Zweibruecken, Kevin Drache increasingly saw his calling in a career with EMW. Thus, after successfully passing his final law examination in 2004, he joined EMW. As Kevin Drache stated: “Without a doubt, my new position as a managing director holds enormous responsibility. Nonetheless I keenly look forward to mastering the tasks at hand in conjunction with our staff and continuing our successful track record in the long term."
“I don't see this new appointment as a reason for anyone to lean back and relax. On the contrary, we need to shift into a higher gear and take advantage of the growth opportunities in the core segments of our company. Working with our know-how from many years' experience and our future-oriented product portfolio, we are well prepared to move forward.”, commented Managing Director Weyl-Drache. “Thus, human capital - in particular the motivation and innovative abilities of our staff - will continue to be a decisive factor for long-term positive corporate development.”
